Coming soon. aton-network is not published on RubyGems yet, so the install line on this page does not work until it is. Until then, everything works over plain HTTP: pick cURL in any code block, or start from Endpoints.
AtonNetwork::Engine signs people in on Rails' own session: the routes, current_atheron_user and require_atheron_user for your controllers. Bundler loads it with the gem.
Install
Set ATHERON_CLIENT_ID, ATHERON_CLIENT_SECRET and ATHERON_REDIRECT_URI (the callback address you registered, such as https://your.app/auth/callback) on your server, or set AtonNetwork::Engine.auth = AtonNetwork::Auth.new(...) in an initializer.
bundle add aton-networkMount the routes
The engine answers /auth/sign-in, /auth/callback, /auth/sign-out (a POST from your own site) and /auth/session. Link to /auth/sign-in?return_to=/account to sign somebody in and bring them back. If you mount it somewhere else, set AtonNetwork::Engine.mount_path to match.
// app/auth/[...atheron]/route.ts: every Sign in with Atheron route in one file.
// Set ATHERON_CLIENT_ID, ATHERON_CLIENT_SECRET, ATHERON_SECRET and
// ATHERON_REDIRECT_URI=https://your.app/auth/callback (the address you registered).

PKCE, state and nonce are checked on every sign-in, the flow is spent on use and lasts ten minutes, the session is a new one at sign-in, a return address is always a path on your site, and signing out revokes the refresh token at Atheron. Sign-out is protected by Rails' forgery protection as well as the same-origin check.
